Hope Florida - A Pathway to Prosperity
Spearheaded by First Lady Casey DeSantis and implemented by the Florida Department of Children and Families, Hope Florida utilizes ‘Hope Navigators’ to guide Floridians on an individualized path to prosperity, economic self-sufficiency and hope by focusing on community collaboration between the private sector, faith-based community, nonprofits and government entities to break down traditional community silos, in an effort to maximize resources and uncover opportunities.

Continue the Mission
Launched in June 2022 by First Lady Casey DeSantis, Continue the Mission aims to actively recruit veterans, military spouses, and former law enforcement officers who still have a desire to serve their communities. Children and families in crisis need reliable support from strong, compassionate, and skilled individuals who will fight to help ensure their safety – attributes that our military and law enforcement agencies instill.
First Responder Resiliency
Department of Children and Families Secretary Shevaun Harris announced the award winners of the $12 million procurement of mental health services for Florida’s first responders and their families. In December of last year, the First Lady announced $12 million in funding to go to implementing or expanding behavioral health services, such as peer-to-peer supports, throughout the state. These services will connect first responders to a provider or fellow first responder who is trained to provide referrals, information, and counseling.
